Our Approach

Dr Abbas Al-wasffi has specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for over 13 years, he is Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Dr Al-wasffi has a gentle and kind demeanour and compassionately cares for women with gynaecological concerns or at any stage of their pregnancy.

Dr Al-wasffi completed his training at Campbelltown & Liverpool Hospitals, as well completed his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and pelvic surgery at Campbelltown & Bankstown Hospitals. He is also involved in teaching medical students from the Sydney south West Medical School.

Married with two children, Dr Al-wasffi appreciates the joys of parenthood along with the anxieties around pregnancy and childbirth. Having been involved in the management of many pregnancies, he has developed the skills required to minimise risk and give the assurance to expecting patients. He works with women and their partners to facilitate a successful and enjoyable birth process. He is a conjoint lecturer at the University Sydney South west Medical School , NSW. Dr Al-wasffi is available at his consult room in Campbelltown and Fairfield, He is a consultant at Campbelltown & Fairfield Public Hospitals as well as Sydney South west Private & Campbelltown private hospitals.
